LIFE Prep School is a free, elementary charter school in St. Paul for students
from prekindergarten to 6th grade.

Meet Taye Carter, LIFE Prep graduate
I was born and raised on the east side of Saint Paul. I started attending school at LIFE Prep in 2nd grade. I was fortunate to have Ms. Leah as my 3rd grade teacher. She taught me to love school by believing in my ability to learn and helping me find the determination to grow. Since that moment I never looked back and pursued my education using the lessons she taught me as a child.
Other than having wonderful teachers who care about the success of each child individually at LIFE Prep, there is something else of great value they provide. It is the environment. When you experience LIFE Prep at its core, it becomes a second home, full of individuals that love children for who they are, wanting them to be the best version of themselves.
